"I want to make sure that CAFT will continue to provide these
magical experiences and wonderful memories in the years to come, so I've left a
gift in my will to CAFT." CAFT Supporter
Like you, CAFT
needs to plan NOW for the future. A gift in your will would really help us offer
more holidays to even more Special Children in the years ahead. All legacies are
free from Inheritance Tax and can therefore be of benefit to your family as
well.
A gift in your will can be a pecuniary gift (a
cash sum) or a specific gift (for example, a piece of
jewellery).
You can also make a residuary gift, which
means that CAFT receives the remainder or a share of the remainder of your
estate, after you have made provision for your family and friends.
If you
have already made a will, you can simply ask your Solicitor to attach a
Codicil (click here) in order to
remember CAFT in your wishes.
CAFT advises anyone making or updating a
will to seek advice from an independent Solicitor.
A gift can be large or
small, and you don't have to leave a lot to make a real difference! For
example:
£100... will pay for a Music Tutor to work
with the children for one day
£250... will pay for
our Activities Team to work with a group of children for one
day
£550... will pay for a week's holiday for one
child
£1,000... will enable one child to benefit from
a weekend Respite Break
£5,000... will pay for piece
of equipment for our Adventure Playground
In Memoriam
Gifts: Many people now ask family and friends to make a donation to a
charity rather than send flowers. You may like to request that donations are
made to The Children's Adventure Farm Trust.
